Rational layout of the assembly line in the pre-manufacturing stage and Lean principles
Škrdla, Michal ; Bernát, Michal (referee) ; Strejček, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the current state of assembly workplace for prefabrication in selected company. Using lean manufacturing principles it describes and subsequently eliminating all forms of waste that occur in the workplace. Part of the project is to design a new layout of the manufacturing cell, operation balancing and standardize the work of operators in the process. The project aims to achieve the planned production volumes at the same or lower operating costs.
Implementation of basic methods of lean manufacturing in manufacturing corporation
Holder, Jitka ; Kubuš, Marek (referee) ; Koška, Petr (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis is to improve the manufacturing of ISO standard valves using basic Lean manufacturing methods. Focus was at two levels, the macro level dealing with auxiliary processes for the whole manufacturing area and the micro level looking at removal of waste in the processes on one particular production cell.
Application of Lean principles in the Manufacturing of Electromotors
Miko, Viktor Ján ; Veselý, Josef (referee) ; Bartošek, Vladimír (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the use of the principles of lean production in a specific assembly hall, in the production of electric motors with an axial length over 153 cm. The theoretical part is devoted to the description of the meaning of lean production, its benefits, qualities and shortcomings. The analytical part is focused on the analysis of bottlenecks directly in production, calculation of downtime, and finding out the possibilities of their elimination. The proposal part offers a proposal to change the layout of workplaces, while in the economic part, this proposal is assessed in terms of investment.

Otipization of assembly supplying in TRCZ s.r.o.
Salačová, Lenka ; Jirsák, Petr (advisor) ; Vinš, Marek (referee)
This bachelor thesis contains a description of approaches leading to optimization of supplies and storage processes of TPS (Toyota Production System) concept focusing on kanban system. The basic principles of the system are defined in the theoretical part. The practical part contains analysis of particular kanban circuit of supplying the main production hall by components and semi-finished products from warehouse, identification of problematic aspects and putting forward a proposal how to optimize the process; the optimization in is conformity with the theoretical part of this paper. The conclusion summarizes contribution of the proposed solution.
